Need Help with Revenue Currency

I am new to amplitude.I read the docs that the currency needs to be decided before hand and it cannot be converted.But I see its always shown in USD . How to change that to any other unit/currency? I don’t mean to convert the currency but just to update the display text from USD to any other (like INR)  Any help would be really great

Retention: Starts low on day 0

I don’t quite get why my day 0 retention is so low. To ensure it really only counted new users who opened the app, I made “app opened at least once” a criteria. Would be great if someone could point me to what the issue is (btw: this issue only appears if I use “new user” as a starting event)

Users who perform event vs users who didn't

Hi guys, so I’m struggling with this. I have a funnel with conversion over time selectedI want to see how it performs for users who previously have not performed an event. I can do currently on amplitude “Users who perform 1 or more events before”, but not users who haven’t performed that event beforeAny ideas how to achieve this?

How to combine events into a single custom event

Hello!I am trying to study user behaviour after a few key events are performed, which we use to determine whether a user is activated or not. For example:User1 has performed event A + Event B + Event C, User 1 = ActivatedHowever, when creating a custom event I see that the custom event will be triggered if any of the events are performed, which doesn’t really help my mechanic at all.  Is there a better way to conduct this analysis or a workaround so that I may have events work with AND instead of OR?  Thank you beforehand for your help!

How to change currency

Hello.I’m currently struggling to find the way of changing currency.I want to make the chart to check the GMV(gross merchandise value) and revenue in KRW. Default currency is USD and I tried to custom formula but it’s not working... Is there a way to change the currency to KRW on chart(Revenue LTV, dashboard chart, etc..)? thank you

Is it possible to create a average time to convert per day chart?

Hello everyone! Can somebody help me with this? I want to measure if the average time to convert an action is going up or down depending on the updates we launch on the product, but I can’t seem to find a way to build a chart like this “Average time to convert per day”. Is it possible?

Is there a way to query based on the last event a user performed?

Here’s the problem:I’m trying to get to a total user count for our app. I setup a behavioral cohort and am querying based on user_id to get a sum of how many users we have. That said, this does not account for uninstalls, and so I am taking out anyone who performed an uninstall in x days. But...we have a number of users who uninstall and then reinstall our app.Ideally I’d love to be able to query based on user_id, and exclude anyone whose final event was “uninstall”. Is there anyway to do this?

[Dashboard REST API] event filtration

Hi all, just stacked with a small problem.This piece of code works perfect, but if I uncomment filter clause I got an “HTTP 400: Bad Request”. Dashboard public link -> TV mode -> gray screen

Hey fellow Amplitude users,I’m trying to cast a 4 chart dashboard to an office screen (via Airtame), but have encountered an issue. The approachCreate public link to dashboard Add public link to our casting service ‘Enter TV Mode’ Profit? Issue‘Enter TV Mode’ only shows a gray screen. I’m currently only able to display the public link page (without tv mode), where charts are too small to be visible. I’ve made this test dashboard, where you can probably replicate the issue. On images below you see with/without tv mode. Have I encountered some bug, or are there limitations to ‘TV Mode’ that I’m unaware of?

How can I track how many signups I get from organic Google searches?

Hi everyone!I am looking to track applications on my website that come from Google Search! To be clear, those are not paid ads, but instead people who find our website via a search on Google. Today, I track UTM parameters via the JS SDK. It does a great job at capturing signups we get from UTM links we build for our affiliates program and from our social media pages.However, Im stuck in how to track applications that I get from Google searches. I can’t “tell Google” to add an UTM to our website when people click on it. So how should I go about tracking that?Cheers!

What chart should I use to anlyze the time when user came back.

I have made user cohort as below.the user who have first opened my app during 4/23~5/22 time frame, then converted to sign in within 1day after first open app event.then I used the retention chart with this cohortto see the unboudned retention, as I wanted to knowhow many users never cameback even after creating an account (sign in event) Day0>Day1 day 1 unbounded retention was let’s say 50%.and I re created cohort of the ones who did comeback, to see what these users are doing after coming back. In the user session chart, I cannot select 2nd session or the session after the sign in session.Is there any other way to see what the users are doing after coming back? thankswith best regards, Flor Cho

[Dashboard REST API] Properly Use "Group By" Clause

Hello Amplitude,I’m trying to get data via the Dashboard REST API and was able to successfully pull data via the event segmentation endpoint with an event_type and filters. However, for my next chart I need to use a group_by and I’m struggling to properly format the request for my query. Can someone please provide some guidance on how to properly structure complex queries?For reference, I’m quite confused by the documentation, since it appears there are three different areas where a group_by can be specified.The first place it mentions is as a parameter next to the event itself: The second place is as a parameter within the full event: The third place is as a parameter within the event segmentation section:

Hi, I have been looking through the Demo dashboardand I was wondering How can I create the number section above the graph?oveall value, yester day, vs current values,vs from May12this part. the chart format is custom formula, so I tried to copy and past the formula to the event segment chart, but it didn’t work. How can I create this type of, ‘showing the important number above the graph’ dash board? thanks

Batch uploaded data not queryable

Hey there, I uploaded some events data from batch api couple of hours back. I received a 200 in response as well. There were 140 events to be precise but they don’t seem to be queryable in my charts. I can see the data got uploaded successfully from web portal as well by going into sources & destinations → identify & event counts but there is nothing in user look up or charts. PLEASE HELP!

Utilizing Behavioral Cohorts

Hey fellow Datamonsters, Today we want to review and provide some helpful tips to get the most out of one of our most powerful features - Cohorts. Cohorts give you the ability to group users based on a given definition. A few examples of Cohorts can be users who contain a certain property value or users who perform an event X amount of times during a specific time range. They also  make it easy to group users to use in Amplitude charts to understand how those groups of users behave!  Tip #1: Find the users that have a certain property value most recently Let’s say you want to grab the most recent subscription status of all your users. Cohorts offer a most recently feature which will grab the most recent property value from the most recent active event. If a user property value is updated without an event or at the time of an inactive event those property values are not available for the cohort to query on. The events before the update will not contain the user property, thus using most

Hi:) I would like to know what is wrong with my analysis (Cohort > life cycle)

I have created cohort from the retention chart,from the unbounded retention chart, from DAY1I have created cohort of the ones who didn’t comeback . However when I used persona chart to analyze the user behavior, 0.653% are in the 2nd week retentino, which doesn’t make any sense because this cohort it self is for the ones who never came back. I would like to know more what’s the missing point. thanks

Recieving constant fake events

Hey people, I am constantly receiving fake events (like opening app every second and spamming login buttons which definitely seams to be a bot behaviour) from someone having the same device properties and different IP address every time. Due to this, I can’t even block the events.What are the possible options with me and has anyone ever faced this issue? The events are coming from Nexus 5x, United States. Although my app is in India and that too in closed beta with 100 users only. Any help would be appreciated :)

Discrepancy when data is grouped

I generated a below retention report. Starting and returning events are same, but I am segmenting return events based on an additional attribute. The attribute only has two possible values and both of them are used as below. In the report, shouldn’t sum of the return events equal to 100%?

Persona chart top and bottom events numbers

Hi, I would like to know “Personas Chart” > top events and lower events the average # of events: for example, cluster 2 users do event “add wizard” with the average number of 2.68, then it means that 3959users *2.68 =10,610 “Add wizard” event has been fired in totalwhat does σ mean? the standard deviation?? σ how is it calculated?                                      It looks like the events are listed in the order of the bigger the σ is, the upper in the list the event is located. however, if this is standard deviation, if it’s bigger, it means that the difference from the mean is big, and that means there are some users who aren’t performing like the mean number of events. If so, I think the lesser the σis the more important that event is, because almost all the users are firing the event                                                         Also, if this is standard deviation, there’s no minus value for standard deviation, but for the event “Add wizard”, cluster 1 is showing mi

Can I offset 'Compare to past'?

Hey Amplitude community, I hope one of you have a solution to my issue here :D  Question‘Compare to past’ lets me compare to the same n days to the previous year. This comparison is date by date.As weekdays change each year, is it possible to offset this comparison, so I compare monday - friday with monday - friday previous year? ContextI’m trying to make a performance dashboard, where I’ll compare sales performance with previous year. Hi,I would like to be able to display a certain users activity in an iframe. I can create charts manually for a user in Amplitude, but I need to be able to do the same programmatically with a user-id. How can I create a user specific chart and show it in an iframe? How to monitor account growth (by license utilization) month over month

Hi Amplitude community!Your help would be greatly appreciated here! I’m trying to build a chart/dashboard that shows account growth (or decline) over a period of time but not having much luck with building this view. For context, our customers book a total number of licenses as part of their contract and I would live to monitor whether or not customers are increasing their total number of active licenses vs booked licenses over time. For example, if ACME company purchased 10,000 licenses, then I want to monitor if ACME is using more or less of those licenses month over month. Ideally, I would like to build a dashboard that shows this growth or decline in license utilization across all customers. Thanks!Jon

Group by event properties

Hi all!I’m new to Amplitude. Just tried to push some data and I was successful. I’m especially interested in the event_properties and how I can create some expressive charts around them.However, I don’t see any options to “group by property_x”? For example, let’s say I store a event property“company” for a user. How can I make a chart to group the events by company, so I know which company did create how many events on a daily / weekly level?Here is a sketch :)Can you advise?Thank you!Lukas
