ampli pull should generate typescript file with "// @ts-nocheck"

I used ampli to generate typescript file. But generated file does not pass our typescript checker.(Error will vary based on tsconfig.json)I would be nice generated typescript file contains “// @ts-nocheck” to skip typescript check

Events in the user event stream are not ordered by time received

Hi,I have events that are sent from the browser and from the backend (Amplitude API)I have a situation where in the users stream of events, the events are not ordered in the correct order in the Amplitude User Lookup stream. Here is the event order. (times are the same or very close for `client_event_time`, `client_upload_time`, `server_received_time`, `server_upload_time`)Order of events in the user stream (top latest to oldest)- Event 1 (time: "2023-05-14 12:59:42.696000) - Server- Event 3 (time: "2023-05-14 13:00:38.992000) - Client- Event 2 (time: "2023-05-14 12:59:49.522000) - ClientEvent order (base on time) should be - Event 3 - Event 2 - Event 1 How can I fix this. Seems like a display/processing error in Amplitude

the sum of property values incorrect

Why is the result of using the sum of property values incorrect? Even though I can see non-zero values in the user segmentation, they are displayed as zero in the analysis.  https://analytics.amplitude.com/bixin/chart/i31h3tp5Looking at the event counts alone, everything appears to be normal. Additionally, this also leads to incorrect calculations when I try to compute the monthly grand total.https://analytics.amplitude.com/bixin/chart/2p6itgpm

Instrument on React Native with GTM

I would like to instrument Amplitude in a React Native app (ios and android) using GTM. Has anyone got this to work? I would be really happy for any help on the way.Also, I would appreciate info if there’s a better way to do it with as little code as possible. (FYI: We already have Firebase running for the app) Thanks!

Amplitude Hubspot Integration: List Created and Not Populated

I’m running into problems getting Amplitude Hubspot Integration to work.I’ve followed the instructions detailed in Send Cohorts to HubSpot and they seem to almost work.Amplitude setup step works Send a cohort works according to the Amplitude UIHowever, when i examine the Cohorts in HubSpot, I find that a contacts list is created with the correct name, i.e. with the Amplitude_ prefix, but the list is empty and remains empty despite Amplitude claiming it has synced users to the list.

How to analyze user properties between sessions?

We have multiple platforms for our product, and I want to know how often a user is changing platforms within a given time period (or if it happens at all) For example, if I have a Platform user property that could be Mobile and Desktop, do users switch from Mobile to Desktop on the same day? And if so, how often? I’m not completely sure which chart to get started with, since most of my analysis has been within a single session

Setting event timestamp during import

Hello, We have a stack using hightouch, rudderstack, and amplitude to import order data to amplitude. When an event is created in amplitude, it seems to use the timestamp when it is imported, not a designated timestamp.  Am I missing something or can this value not be set?

Is there a way to establish an API call that pulls data from the user that consists of their: Event stream  Grouped by session ID  Each event with: Event name  Start time  We’re looking to analyze the different sessions a user has, mostly focused on the start time of the session and the duration that it lasts.

How can we get the Amplitude ID on the front end?

Here is the situation:We want to pass back a unique user identifier on our sales form submissions to improve matching with Salesforce data (currently match on email, but emails get changed) Previously used the user_id provided by the analytics platform which could be pulled from a first party cookie Now we want to use the Amplitude ID, but have no way to surface on the browser when the form is being submitted Is this possible to achieve?  We tried combining session_id (amplitude.getSessionId()) and device_id (amplitude.getDeviceId()), but the values are not unique. Is there anything in the AMP_******* first party cookie we could use? Using the GTM Amplitude template on our webpage if it helps Thank you!

Amplitude chrome extension to work

Hi, We use Segment to pass data to Amplitude and I noticed that the plug-in stopped working on my website. We switched from device mode to cloud mode, and I was wondering if it could be related. If so, is there any way I can debug my events? I use quite often the plugin, so it is a bit annoying it stopped working.  Thanks :D

Acquisition channels set up and guidance

We are looking to set up some marketing tracking and have added the UTM parameters for campaigns config etc. I am only looking at channels now and Amplitude reckons it can pick up historical data. If I wish to see organic search traffic to our website for example is there any reason why this set up isn't working? At the minute I am only seeing ‘Direct’. When I delete ‘Direct’ I only see ‘none’ Thanks in advance. Basically is there any config our front end devs need to do other than the tracking implementation for UTM medium/source?

Refuse to connect to 'https://api2.amplitude.com/2/httpapi' because it violates the following Content Security Policy

We recently use Amplitude for tracking the event when users verify their emails. So we add the tracking event method inside the Email Template from Auth0. Those are HTML code and I use fetch to handle the event tracking and it works normally when I run it locally. But when the email is sent to Outlook or Gmail account, I got the error as the image below. I wonder if you can do some configurations on your end about it or what should I do? Thanks so much in advance for your help.I will reply as soon as possible.

Funnel Conversion: Users are missing

I’m creating a funnel analysis on Amplitude, as I wanted to see specifically which users dropped off. However, when selecting the drop-off area and “View users”, there were users that I know completed the second action, because when using User lookup, I can see both events in the funnel were triggered. Is there a setting I’m misinterpreting the funnel?

Export Api send response with unreadable data.

Hi! I have some trouble with data whice I recive from API. When I get data from Export API the data are unreadable or encoded. Response header contain Content-Type: application/zip.And it’s no matter how I get data use Postman or code. The response always the same.

How to use trackingOptions with Flutter?

I need to disable tracking the user PII such as the IP address, but the Flutter SDK does not seem to be exposing the trackingOptions object.Is there another way to disable tracking those properties? If it helps, we need to disable the tracking for the entire project, not per user.Thanks.

Cross domain tracking with GTM and React

I am using GTM to instrument Amplitude and have an issue I think many of you have bumped into. I am trying to track a user across different domains by passing the deviceid in the url. However, I can't access the deviceid in the right amplitude instance from code in order to pass it in the url. Total of UTM medium visitors not equal to total visitors

Hi there, When I try and track where all my page visitors are coming from by grouping by utm_medium, I find that summing of the number of unique visitors from across all mediums (including (none)) gives a total which is far below the total number of unique visitors to the site.Please can you help explain if I have done something incorrectly or why this is?Thank you!

When holding a property constant in a funnel, is an event included if it contains multiple values of the property?

Hi, I’m trying to figure out if we can use “holding property constant” in our funnels to be able to check if customers are purchasing the same product of which they saw the product page earlier or which they added to their shopping cart earlier.We have events called Product Page Viewed, Shopping Cart Item Added and Purchase Completed. At the moment only the Product Page Viewed event contains the event property product_id, but after finding out about the feature we are adding the property to the other events soon.Now each time Product Page Viewed or Shopping Cart Item Added are called they will only contain one product_id, but as a Purchase can contain multiple items from the shopping cart the event Purchase Completed will sometimes contain multiple product_id’s. My question is:If we are holding product_id constant in a funnel, will an event Purchase Completed still be included if the property product_id has multiple values of which only one of them is the product_id in the previous eve

Custom events are not shared between environments?

I’m using environments (Production, Development, etc.) for a project.All events created on one appear on the other, except custom events.Custom events as specified on https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047138392#create-a-custom-event-from-existing-eventshttps://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041885332-Group-two-or-more-events-together-as-a-single-step-in-the-Events-module Seem attached to just one environment, despite the underlying events existing on both. Is there any way to share them or promote them between envs?Having to recreate them on each environment would make them quite difficult to use effectively.

User property not apply to subsequent events in merged profiles

Amplitude documentation. You do not have to send custom user properties with every event. Once a user property is set, its value will persist, and Amplitude will apply it to all subsequent events until the value is changed.Issue:We currently have a single Amplitude project where we send events from our website, iOS application, and backend.Use case.1. User signed up via website with UTM tags 2.  we created a user id  3. these (initial_utm_campaign, initial_utm_content, initial_utm_medium) user properties  were detected by Browser SDK and applied to all events from the web4. user installed the IOS app  and logged in with the same user id5. profiles were merged6. all subsequent events from IOS don’t have those user properties. Could you please help to understand why and fix it?
