Hello everyone,I wanted to know that is there any way that if a user logs out and then perform any events, than those events should be not linked to the previous logged in user ID without changing the device ID.I know right now the only solution is to regenerate device ID while logging out, but I wanted to mantain that device ID to know how many unique peoples are using from that device ID.
Hi,I want to create a dashboard on the behavior of specific groups I track with the Accounts Addon. This dashboard should be embedded/linked from another page. So what I would love to do is create a URL/link to the dashboard and add a parameter with the name of the respective group to the URL and have the dashboard filter on that. Is there a way to do this?
I’m trying to integrate Amplitude with Zapier / make or other tools alike. I’d like to once a day capture results from my charts, and process them with automation tools like Zapier. Has anyone done anything like it? Do you know if I could find any tutorials about it?
I'm having an issue where if I export a saved dashboard to a PDF, the PDF is showing up without data. This feature worked fine as recently as the beginning of Jan. When I download the PDF, the outline of the data cards are there, but there is no data or images inside the cards. When I export as PNG, the data shows up fine.
What are the exact event definition criteria for Pathfinder charts?(Subtitle: Pathfinder Chart vs Funnel Chart) Hello everyone, I have a question about Pathfinder charts. I tried drawing the same event using the Pathfinder chart and the funnel chart, but it occurred with completely different results on the two charts. Even if I search the guide, the exact event criteria of the Pathfinder chart are not defined. Does anyone know about the event definition criteria of the Pathfinder chart? Even if I try again and again, I get completely different results depending on the usage chart when measuring the same event. I would like to know why. Does anyone know about this case. Any help would be great for me Thank you 😀
Hi, guys. I’d like to find myself in Amplitude User-Look up (or User cohort report). So I downloaded Airbridge’s <My Device Id> application to see my device id which is the same with IDFV (right?) But I still cannot find myself in Amplitude User-Look up with putting my IDFV in device id. Unfortunately we don’t track user’s email or mobile number so it’s quite hard for me to track my data. Any tips for me?🙏🏼
Hi,I need advise on how to better organize tracking via Amplitude.CONTEXTWe have 3 different space: A) Public website with content B) Web app (Single page application with some onboarding form) C) IOS mobile appEvents coming from A are sometimes (usually) coming from anonymous users until they sign up or log in and then we identify them. When user login via B) web platform we create a user_id and he can fill in the onboarding form or see a screen with QR code or button to download the app. Or user can sign in via app for a first time and we create user_id at that moment. I want to implement JS SDK Web Attribution to track some activity on Web ( click button, view page) but most important store UTM parameters as user property and send it with all event user perform on mob app. So the goal performs behavior user analysis in mobile app based on the source he came from (utm source, campaign and others). The questions are:1) Could I create two different projects Web and Mobile and share o
Is it possible to track the utm parameters from app deeplinks in Amplitude? We are rolling out share functionality (e.g. the deeplink might be “app.myapp.com/sleep_program?utm_source=app_share_button”) and we want to track usage of the new feature. So ideally something like a count of the number of people who come to the app via ‘app_share_button’. We’re using the React Native SDK fyi.
Hey Amplitude Community, We are currently using the TS SDK, we notice every time we start a new session, it auto triggers $identify call that set/unset a bunch of UTM parameters. We are using cross tracking in our landing site (JS SDK) and product site (TS SDK), and seems like any UTM params that are set in our landing site got overwritten by this auto triggered $identify call when user goes to our product site. Looking for help to see if we missed any configuration in TS SDK or anything we can do to avoid this auto $identify call? Thank you in advance!
