Hi all

I would like the Miro integration with the eu data residency analytics.eu.amplitude.com. When I push the Authenticate button in Miro, the redirect will fail. I guess the reason is because it will redirect to https://notify.amplitude.com/integrations and not https://notify.eu.amplitude.com/integrations.

Any chance how I can fix this problem with a workaround?

Thanks,

Sandro

I am talking about this integration https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/8476297377819

Hi @sandrof ,

I believe I have come across this before and the solution was to reach out to Miro themselves and ask them to change the endpoint to the EU Server. Can you do so and see if it is possible on their side? In the meantime, I will continue to investigate on my end. Thank you!

Kind Regards,
Denis

I was testing this with a private window to make sure that I was not logged into the US instance. I did not yet hear back from Miro. You can check my post here: https://community.miro.com/developer-platform-and-apis-57/amplitude-integration-not-working-with-eu-server-9958

I would apperciate if you investigate with your devs  I can also support if you want.

HI @sandrof

Of course! Did you get my email this morning per chance?

Yes i will write you back.

For the ones that end up here. I was talking with the Tech support of Amplitude. It is not yet supported by Amplitude to use the EU servers with the Miro integration.

Just to add, we do not have an EU miro integration right now but we are planning on working and releasing this at some point in the future.

Hey @Denis Holmes . Any updates or ETA on this matter?

Will PM!

Another two month are gone. Any updates @Denis Holmes ?

Let me look into that for you @sandrof !

Hi @sandrof !

Thanks for your patience on this! I did hear back from the Engineers. Unfortunately, the MIRO Integration is going to be removed. We are currently working with Miro to get it to unfurl chart links in the EU domain still. So that ability to unfurl will still be there. We are only removing the part where you can search for charts to generate the image, so the ability to unfurl by copy-pasting chart links will still be available.

Apologies if this is not ideal but I am hear for any feedback you may have.

Kind Regards,
Denis

Bummer. What we want to do is creating a Miro dashboard that includes Amplitude charts that live update. We don’t need to be able to search Amplitude charts via the Miro integration. Are you referring to the Miro smart link https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017730993-Embedding-Media-to-Boards#h_01H3MAYB41REWHTFNYCHBBF6QV when you mention “unfurl chart links”?

This however does not seam to work. I that what you are working for?

Right now. I can see a bookmark (preview) with a connect button, but when clicking the connect button there is an error message. See screenshot:

The link is a link to a chart not a dashboard. https://app.eu.amplitude.com/analytics/innoarchitects/chart/<id>

Thanks,

Sandro

The above was in the Miro app. When doing the same in a browser I get the following error (new page opens):

Same problem here

@Hugues Poiget it looks like you’re on our EU data center, and unfortunately Miro is not supported on our accounts hosted on analytics.eu.amplitude.com. Let me know if this isn’t the case and you’re on our US data center.

Indeed 😢

Any idea of when this will be compatible with EU data center ?

@Esther Trapadoux I would also appreciate an answer when the OAuth flow will work with the EU data center.
