One of our Upload Events disappeared a few months ago, and can no longer be found in Amplitude Analytics. This whilst in our code it’s still active in the exact same way, and it also appears in the Amplitude Explorer browser extension when we replicate the event.We couldn’t find any options in related topics. Hi there!I run a Microsoft app that users download from my website. From the moment they install it, through their entire lifecycle, I have analytics implemented in Amplitude. To get a more view granular at the top of the funnel, I now ask email address and want to store how many 1) requests to download I get and 2) how many times my software is download.Any advice on how I should store this? Since I only make a user ID at install, should I just store the email and download in a separate project and let them be anonymized data? Even having a basic conversion rate here between steps would be useful to me. In a best case scenario, I would see the user funnel from initial email request all the way through to recurring payment, but I’m not sure how to do that + I’m sure that’s way outside of the scope of Amplitude. Thanks,Marlon 

Hi,we are implementing Amplitude React-native SDK to track our mobile app (iOS/Android)But event automatically record Platform as “Web”, not “Android” or “iOS”Have you had such a problem? How to solve it without custom development 

Event data (blue) from July through this month is inaccurate as the Event was affected during a code deployment and realized months after. We had to create a new Event (green) which was just completed last week. I am including both Events in the chart for continuity, but want to exclude data from July through December as it was inaccurate with the code change. I don’t think this is possible with current date functionality unless I put the start date as when the fix was put into place, but that would mean our SaaS clients couldn't see valuable usage data prior to July. TIA! 

Hi,I’ve managed to set up a regular export of my events to BigQuery, as well as backfilling all my events and merged Ids.However it is near unusable since the data was automatically exported to a dataset located in the US, while all my BI projects are located in the EU.Is there an option somewhere to select the location where the data should be exported to ?Thanks!

Hello everyone, I need help with a custom formula.I've a data source that gives me the revenue for each unique user every day. Today, I have a graph showing the sum of this property daily for the last 30 days. As it's a daily sum, I don't find a way to create a custom formula that helps me to use this data to create a monthly dashboard. When I try to do it, I have a graph that is the sum of the revenue for every user multiplied by the number of days in the month. It's not relevant at all. I would like to have the last daily sum calculated for every month. Can I do it? Best,

Hello, I collect my data once a day and try to send them to the amplitude, but since they come at the same time, the event graph is not built correctly. I want to know if I can pass the event_time parameter as the trackData event parameter, in this case I expect the passed date parameter to be used as the date the event was received in amplitude.

Due to a bug in the loading of the ampli wrapper (on my side), all of the events for an ampli project were being logged into our development environment for about 3 weeks (small project with only a couple of events). As these events are not database-driven, I can’t backfill them by making a bunch of events again from data in our database. Is there any sort of recourse I can do for recovering these events from the wrong environment?

Hi all! I want to update userProperties without sending any event. As I see in documentation, there are one described way: use Identify API. But I’ve forked Postman Collection and saw, that I can update user properties via HTTP API V2 (see image below) with event_type = “$identify”. Is it the same way as Identify API? And whether the userProperties update in this way will be add to your monthly event count in Amplitude or not? Are there any subscription restrictions if you update in this way?Thank you in advance!

The documentation here: https://amplitude.com/blog/google-tag-manager-template shows a tag with an ‘event properties’ field, which is not in the current iteration of the tag.  It appears the tag template is broken or changed.   The video on the page, at the 5:00min mark, shows this:  whereas the template itself is completely missing the event properties section.  There’s no ‘add property’ button:   Is this a bug, or is there some other way we are supposed to send event properties now?  BestJarrad

Hi, we’re trying to create funnel(s) that only include users who started on our website.  We also track users in amplitude in our product, so that we have their full event stream from the website and app in one profile.However, we can’t seem to find any way to reliably filter out users who started in our app vs those that started in our website.  The key challenge seems to be that if a user ever gets merged, then Amplitude overwrites the older user properties (like utm params, referrer, anything we set with setOnce) with the newer properties.Does anyone know of a solution?

Dear community,Apologies if I’m asking an already asked question here.Is there a way to view the average of a ‘formula’ event over the users. Specifically, I have a parameter ‘like_ratio’ that is generated as like / (like + dislike). I am interested in the average like_ratio per user - not weighted by likes and dislikes, but just a clean average. If I make a segmentation chart of totals_like / (totals_like + totals_dislike) I get a chart weighted by activity (the most active user will weigh more in the result). Is there a way to create the average of the per user like_ratio? I have tried the avg(like) / (avg(like) + avg(dislike)) but I get a wildly different number from what I get when exporting user data and taking the avg(like / (like + dislike))  Thank you!

Hi there guys. We have a user composition chart (link will work only for admins/tech support I guess) in our Amplitude.There is (none) group in the chart, suggesting the property value for those users is not set.Although, if I press on that group, select “View Users” and pick any user, his property value will be set. Does anyone have any idea why is that?Thanks!

Hey folks I’m having an issue with Amplitude and I’d really appreciate some help :) I’m backfilling some data for the past couple of years but none of it seems to be available but in event segmentation or in the events page of the Data tab but is visible in the User Lookup page. I tried this for other events and nothing works so far. The problem is similar to this thread. Our tracking plan does reject events that don’t fit the schema. Is there a fix or do I need support? Thanks, Jack. 

Hi,I’ve just upgrade from Expo SDK 43 to 46, and seems like I need to use a custom development client instead of Expo Go, because of expo-analytics-amplitude will be deprecated in SDK 45. and clearly written in expo documents that expo-analytics-amplitude will be Deprecated. So I need to use this official docs.I use @amplitude/analytics-react-native. And It's work in my Expo Project. Hey guys! I’ve been having this problem with amplitude for while and wanted some help. Our product recently launched it’s trial version in an attempt to explore the PLG strategy. With that in mind, we wanted to keep an eye on every detail about our new trial users, from their journey and their behaviour. Problem is, we are having some inconsistencies with our data coming from Amplitude, because some users that access our trial just aren’t registered inside Amplitude, even tough they signed up successfully. I don’t have the exact numbers in hand right now, but at least 20 users show up on our databse, but are nowhere to be found on Amplitude. And it’s isn’t a case of segmentations. These users don’t even show up on user look-up! My first gut feeling is that those users don’t stick around after signing up long enough to Amplitude to catch some event, but I can’t really be sure about that.
