Hi, guys. I’d like to find myself in Amplitude User-Look up (or User cohort report). So I downloaded Airbridge’s <My Device Id> application to see my device id which is the same with IDFV (right?) But I still cannot find myself in Amplitude User-Look up with putting my IDFV in device id. Unfortunately we don’t track user’s email or mobile number so it’s quite hard for me to track my data. Any tips for me?🙏🏼

We’ve recently added several events to our mobile app. Unexpectedly, some events are not visible in event list on Data page or not appearing in Analysis. They are across at least 3 status:Appearing in event list and available in Analysis   Appearing in event list but unavailable in Analysis (cannot choose that event for creating a chart) Some of them have an error icon in event details - however, other events with the same error message are still available in Analysis.   Not appearing in event list  However, I can see them in Amplitude project for Dev environmentI’ve checked related topics but haven’t found solutions. Really appreciate your help! 

Hello, I’m trying to specify the platform field when triggering a logEvent, but thanks to the post below I found out that for the JS SDK the “platform” field always stays as “Web”, so, is there a way to manually change this?I tried using something like:amplitude.options.platform = “Android”Before logging the event, but that didn’t work.

Hello,I have a scheduled job that exports data from Amplitude into BigQuery every 6 hours. There is one specific event that is in Amplitude but not in the export to BigQuery. What’s the best way for us to figure out the root cause of this issue?Thanks for all the help here!Lawrence

I’m trying to complete Amplitude Data's AppsFlyer integration based on this article, but Data - Destination page says that  AppsFlyer integration is not available and Coming Soon. I want to check if it is really unavailable or if is it a limitation of my account.Thanks  

Hey! We are currently using the Android and iOS SDK. And it works great in most cases.However we have found a problem with the Android side that results in missing some events and user properties.What seems to happen is that the first events happening is sometimes not being uploaded to your database.So we can see that some users is in a screen_view that should not be possible to begin the session with. That’s why it seems to be a problem with uploading event. We have an initial step with uploading user properties, such as: android_logged_in: yes/no. But those will not be uploaded. This results with an average of 5 new users missing this property each day. which is just a tiny percentage but still annoying. Do you have any tips how to solve this? 

Hi everyone! So, i added a new event and in the “User Look-Up” list i can see the event but when i go to the “Segmentation” the event doesn’t appear on the list of events. Could you help me, please?

Hey, I’m struggling getting to created branches in Amplitude Data. after the branch is created, I’m still on the main branch and I can’t figure out how to switch to this new branch. The only UI i see to switch is that original drop down and it only shows the same main branch.I feel like I’m missing something here, is there a UI anywhere to look at branches you’ve created and switch to them?Thanks so much for the support!

Hi All,I can’t find some channels in my reports (all web).I’m using the same UTM structure in all the marketing channels,but for some reason, I can see only part of these channels in the reports.Any idea why? Or how to fix it?Thanks!

Hello,I've been using a revenue track and everything has been running smoothly with over 100 purchases. However, I recently discovered an issue where a user's revenue was incorrectly recorded as 100 times the intended amount for two purchases, going from 4.99 to 499 and 2.99 to 299. This appears to only be affecting this one user.Need help. Thanks. 

We recently integrated amplitude and noticed we have this in console. index.ca0b2aaa.js:41 Refused to connect to 'https://api2.amplitude.com/2/httpapi' because it violates the document's Content Security Policy. I search through amplitude but couldn’t find any documentation around Content Security Policy. Do you have any official guidance on how to update CSP?

User look up is not working. I can see the property and value when entered through an event. But the same is not appearing in advanced search or normal search of User look up.

Median time to convert is not shown in this chart.There are actually other metrics shown: conversion, conversion over time, etc. But not median. Any ideas?  

Hello, I’m trying to clean up our Amplitude event properties to lower the number counting towards our limit since we are approaching 2000.I noticed a lot of our properties are queryParams or pageQueryParams, but that a majority of these properties have Null values. I want to basically be able to query all event properties and identify all of the properties that don’t have useful information to us so I can delete them. Right now the only way I see to do this is to create a Data Table, look at all events, and then one by one do a group by for each event property name to check what the values were for those properties. Is there a better way to do this that I’m missing? 

I am trying to create a destination with the Latern application. (Lantern’s instruction video here)When I follow the steps, I get an error message that says “Failed to create sync.  Please try again or contact support.”Has anyone else run into this issue?

Hello!🙂 I still have some question about setting environments.So, I have 2 projects, one - the main project, second - development version for first project (as advised to me here). I created both projects separate from each other. I use Ampli CLI and I want to make it possible to use both projects in the same ampli.json configuration but for different environments (for staging version of my app - events goes to MyDevelopmentProject, and for production - events go to MyProductionProject). For this I think I need to combine both of these projects in different environments. What I mean: Production - MyProductionProject,  Development: MyDevelopmentProject. But when I try to set MyDevelopmentProject as a development environment for my MyProductionProject I see this message:After you associate the following projects with this tracking plan, there will no longer be any projects associated with their former tracking plans. To keep things clean, we’ll delete their former tracking plans for you

Hi there! I’m new to using Amplitude and I was trying to disable IP address tracking in the initialization of the Amplitude instance. Even after adding a tracking object to disable the tracking, the IP address is still being collected. This is the initialization of the code that I had:  amplitude.getInstance().init("{{amplitudekey | safe}}", { trackingOptions: { city: true, country: true, carrier: true, device_manufacturer: true, device_model: true, dma: true, ip_address: false, language: true, os_name: true, os_version: true, platform: true, region: true, version_name: true, },}); Is there something I’m doing wrong or missing? I’m new to Amplitude and trying to understand how the system treats unique users overtime within a segment chart.For example, if I have an event I’m tracking where I look at unique users openedTool over the last six months, does a user that activates the event in month one also get counted in month two, three, etc? Or is it unique users activating that event for the first time within the six month period?

For example i got a “start event” with an event property of “count”. I want to sum up the “count” property for users where no “end event” has happened yet.Thanks for the help!

We are working on offline management of video content for mobile sdk.  The user can watch the content when offline.   When a user is consuming content without network connection.  We’d like to store our event/analytics info locally and then send this data to Amplitude on reconnect.  Is it best to do this via Batch Event Upload?  OR I was told we should look at “offline’ configuration for the mobile sdk?
