Is there a way to use a block filter on utm parameters?

I was hoping to apply a block filter, similar to what I’ve done with IP addresses, on Amplitude. We want to leverage a utm parameter, specifically medium, to filter out synthetic tests. Is there a way we could do this?

How can I save filter with email and re-use for other event tracking?

 Than you so much for the community for help.<What I am trying to do>On Segmentation time trend feature, I am trying to track # of use except for our customer success.  <Challenge>Though it is possible to filter by email (remove email based on our company domain), we need to update filter every time when when new customer success.><Potential solution>I thought it might be possible to create “custom filter A” that consist of set of emails, and once I update that “custom filter A”, that applies to all the output that uses the “custom filter A”.  However, more elegant solution is also appreciated.

Importing Data from SQL database and API Keys

Im working with company sales data,i have many brands sales data ,I want to conect my each brand’s sales from Point of sales which is stored as API as well as data from SQL database in to amplitude.And I want to create dashboard from this sales data and want them to be automatically updated (My data refresh on daily basis)

Template Gallery charts won't populate

Brand new Amplitude user here. The template gallery seems cool; I swear I saw the charts populate for me previously. Now I just get some tips telling me to do the very thing (I think) I have already done.  Can anyone point me in the right direction for a solve?

Calculating new purchasers – Can you tell me what I am doing wrong here?

Duplicated event_id for different user_id

Hi, Based on https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/requests/295103 seeking help here in communtiy.In "CP-Production", I see same event_id is being tagged to multiple users. Is this even possible ? If yes under what scenarios ?Example : event_id = 12345678and event_type = 'app_open' This is tagged to multiple users({"userId":"abcd3fgh1234"} and {"userId":"kjlmnop5678"}) at different event time. One at 2023-04-28 15:00:36.817 and other at 2023-09-15 00:27:98.023 accordingly. Any one aware why this happens ? Regards,Vivek

Event Streaming to GA4

Hi,did anyone managed to successfully use data destination event stream to Google Analytics 4? I’m using one event from Amplitude for POC, and everything seems to be okay, but there is no event in GA4. So if someone managed to do it, was there anything specific you had to do (that is not in documentation)?

Unable to remove Intercom from Sources

Hi,We have an integration with Intercom as the source but are unable to remove it as a source. The issue is that there are unmapped/unidentified users that get added into Amplitude and it is eating up our MTU count.!-->The detail page for Sources/Intercom only shows the General tab and and info icon, but there is no delete icon like there is for other sources. Would appreciate any help to help us remove it as a source.Thank you

Is the old UI (with events and cohort on the top instead of on the left) for the LTV charts just me?

"Suggestions" in Amplitude Analytics and Data -- Is this ChatGPT?

I noticed a new feature pop up in Amplitude Data -- “suggestions” on event names, property names, and descriptions.Is this an implementation of ChatGPT or a GPT variant of some sort?If so, would you please point me to where in the “fine print” we automatically consented to have our data used with a GPT variant?Other SaaS companies force you to either consent or reject to this use of your data before making the feature live in your account, which would be good form, given the complicated tangle of ethics and privacy issues at play in the generative large language model side of the industry. Also… My company would like to opt-out of giving our consent and request the means to do so.

Can we export large number of charts as PDF for a particular dashboard?

I created a dashboard which contains 38 charts in total. First issue that I encountered was the noticeable amount of lag while viewing the page. Second issue is related to the export feature. I tried exporting the dashboard as a PDF but some of the charts are never rendered. Can someone look into this as to why the above issue is happening? The reports that I create can be bigger than the existing stuff that I have created.

The Customer.io destination seems broken

Hi there,I was investigating an issue reported by two shared customers. I followed https://www.docs.developers.amplitude.com/data/destinations/customerio/, but regardless of what payload I use (the default one, or a customize with a random id and data), the test data does not pass through. Can you build a report based on the last click only of an event?

I have an event that tracks clicks on a toggle, and I have an event property on that event called “enabled” that tracks whether they have enabled (=TRUE) or disabled the toggle (=FALSE).I am trying to measure the number of unique users that currently have the toggle set to enabled, and the only way to do that is to know what the value is the very last time they clicked the toggle.Is there a way in a segmentation chart or a funnel chart to only count last clicked event where enabled = TRUE?

Retroactively adding property groups?

Let’s say I have a bunch of old events with the properties albumName artistName genre recordLabel releaseDate songDuration songTitle   I’ve added these to a few Events already, but then I discover property groups and create a new Song property group.I can add these to new events that don’t have the Song property group, but how can I convert my legacy event properties to the property group? Should I just delete the properties and re-add the property group?

Average purchase amount per user

I am looking to calculate average purchase amount per user and split users by a specific threshold. For instance, users with an average purchase amount either above or below $10. I know you can do an average of purchase amount across purchase events as well as ARPU but both of these use aggregates across events/users.If that isn’t possible then I would likely have to just group users by whether or not they’ve made purchases above $10.

custom metric permitted events and other related things

@jennruAre we not allowed to refer to Cohorts we’ve created as part of custom metrics?For our situation, I’m trying to create a custom metric for the third column in second image below.The first column is just users to a page.  The second column is users to that page who were part of a cohort. That custom cohort is users who viewed a thank-you page, which is for us our final conversion step.Third column is intended to be second column divided by first column, as percentage.Within first image below is the available events, and the event is viewed page filtered to that cohort.  Trying to work out some combination that makes that work in some fashion.Thank you!

We need to be notified when traffic to a specific chart changes

https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001764612-Insights-Spot-anomalies-in-your-metrics-quickly-with-alerts More specifically, we’d probably have to set up multiple alerts, based on traffic to the first step of a funnel, also to the last step in the funnel.The above link implies that the Insights add-on should be able to help with this if the organization has the Growth plan enabled, which we do.  I looked at a chart which I am creator of, and there’s a “bell” icon at top right next to the “more” drop down menu, which does allow set up of alerts (which implies that the Insights add-on is already built in to our plan possibly??) however, it seems to not allow the last 7 or 30 days, or any choice at all.  @Esther Trapadoux are there permission levels I need, or what other thing am I missing to have an alert set up for traffic changes to a funnel chart?  Thank you. @mkoiva

Remove internal users from analysis

Hi, I’m looking to exclude internal users from my A/B testing analyses. When we all worked in the office it was easy to block the IP, but since our company is primarily remote workers I’m looking for a solution where I can create a segment that excludes everyone on our team from my test data. I don’t believe that asking individual users to somehow block themselves will be successful, so I was thinking about creating a segment and blocking user ids. It would be anywhere from 25-100 people so any suggestions are welcome.

Avg number of event per unique user

I’d like to know how many times on average unique users trigger a specific event, how can I do it? Do i need to select an event and group by user ID? Are there any other way that doesn’t require the user ID?

Daily Login Activity

Hi there,  I am a beginner with the Amplitude platform - I am curious why the line graph for Daily Login Activity shows multiple lables of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. and why there is a (none) associated to this activity.  Also I’ve selected Frequency to measure this data but the number of logins that are displayed in the chart are different from the numbers in the line graph. Thanks!

Could you please inform me if there is a document explaining each field of the API Response? 

In the API References document, I only found explanations for some of the Response fields. Explanations for certain fields and the return values of some interfaces are missing. For example, it is mentioned in "Get results from an existing chart" that "Responses vary based on the chart's type." Is there a document that provides a detailed explanation of the meaning of each return value for every interface?
