Mixpanel Destination for iOS

Hi we’ve moved over a while back from Iteratively and are just now making sure that all of the connections are set for our iOS app’s Ampli itegration. We want to be able to use the tracking plans and log events with Amplitude and have them flow into our mixpanel instance.I see that we have a destination set to mixpanel here:I also see that we have events flowing into amplitude here:We however don’t see any of these events in our mixpanel instance. Please give guidance on what we should be checking. I also couldn’t find documentation on this so if there is any, a link would be awesome!

Stickiness Graph: How can I interpret the day 1 percentage, if I set the events to any active event?

Hey everyone,I created a stickiness graph and set the event = any event. My two questions are:Why can I only see 6 days in the bar chart view? What learning can I draw when the event is set to any event and my 1 day bucket is at 29%? Does this mean my users perform a lot of events which I am not tracking yet?As always looking forward to your replies :)

Best way to configure JavaScript SDK in GTM?

My website (E-learning website) is built with React and it is distributed in to micro-services like if users want to login, it will redirect them to login.mywebsite.com. If they want to start learning, then it will bring them to app.mywebsite.com.So, I would like to install Javascript SDK via GTM, what is the best way to configure, especially the trigger? because I’ve tried like this https://share.cleanshot.com/26n173 but it did not work. The event just only registered to Amplitude one time and that’s it (but it fired in GTM correctly every time).Looking forward for any help 😊

Generating Data With A Cron

I have a usecase where I want to bulk-generate events with a cron every day -- that is to say, generate all events I will need and send them (ideally, using the python SDK).The setup I thought about was:Delete all events of the type I want to send Send the new events from my cronBut I’ve not found a good way of doing (1) via the python SDK. Is this a usecase amplitude can even be applied for ? We mainly use it for one-off-event-driven analytics, but I’d love it if I could also visualize the results of some analytical crons in amplitude.

Website vs App Best Practice

Hey all, I notice that a lot of the data we are seeing in Amplitude has been skewed as it is being used for our marketing site as well as our app. Is there a best practice for this? Should we be separating our marketing site into a seperate project?Thanks​​​​​​​

Is it possible to remove "Page" name in the page event?

Hello, We are integrating Amplitude through Segment. Since I have updated the Amplitude destination, the page event arrive on Amplitude with the name “Page”. I cannot find if it’s possible to remove it. Thanks for your help.Kévin

SplitIO and Amplitude ab testing

Hi, we’ve decided to use SplitIO for AB testing in my company, but since we also use Amplitude, I’d really like to have the ability of analysis based on ab tests user segments in Amplitude tooSo, we send a getTreatment(“test_name”) call to SplitIO that returns the test and the version that we should serve to the client. We then serve different versions to the client based on that. However we also want to register that in Amplitude so that we can do our full funnel analysis, retention analysis, stickiness analysis based on the cohort users belong to.My approach would be to register each test and variant as a user property in Segment/Amplitude and this way we could easily do every analysis we want by simply grouping the users by the version that was served to them. Would that be the best practice?In one tutorial (albeit by Mixpanel) they suggest that we should fire an event when the test is served to the user. I really dislike this approach because IMHO the test version served to the use

Security webhook for custom monitors

When creating a webhook, is there a way to specify secure credentials for Amplitude to use when calling the webhook?  Ideally they would be passed in an HTTP header instead of on the URL, but I don’t see a way of setting anything outside the URL.

Getting user segment labels in custom monitor webhook

I have a webhook set up to receive Amplitude alerts.  When an alert fires, my webhook receives a notification as expected.  On the incoming request, I can’t find the name of the user segment that’s getting alerted.  This would especially be helpful in charts with multiple segments.  I do see a user_segment_idx field that contains a number, presumably the index into the list of segments.  Is there a way to lookup the name of the segment?  Can this be done with an API call?  Here’s a snippet of the incoming JSON payload for reference: { "charts": [ { "header": "My Alert", "user_segment_idx": "1", "segment_value_label": null, "what_happened": "2022-10-13 14:00:00: 44.4 is lower than the threshold 55.0.", "chart_url": "https://analytics.amplitude.com/mychart?source=custom_monitor_webhook", "rca_url": "https://analytics.amplitude.com/mychart?source=custom_monitor_email&RCA.time=2022-10-13T14%3A00%3A00", "filename": "filename.png", "contentType

I'm stuck On the page of Set Up Unity Sdk

Hi I'm a new User of Amplitude,I created an account at Amplitude in the as free starter plan. Then I added same unity sdk dependency which is already given in Amplitude, But I can't find my dashboardAfter the first signup I only have two options in Amplitude. 1. Invite your team member. 2. Setup data source I have created the organization and also created my first project. I use project's api key in unity code but i can't get any analytics data or dashboard because my setup is not finishing unity sdk. I'm stuck On the page of Set Up Unity Sdkpage showing listening …Constantly happening So tell me what should I do now?

Which SDK to use for Ionic with Capacitor?

Hi, I have apps that are built in Ionic with Capacitor and I’ve been using the JavaScript SDK for some time now, which worked great. I noticed the JavaScript SDK is now a legacy SDK and will be deprecated in the future, and there is no direct alternative for Ionic/Capacitor yet.  Does anyone have any experience as to which SDK I should migrate to? The ones that come to mind are the Browser and the Node.js SDKs, but I’m not sure which one I should go for.  Thank you

Whether is it possible to track the current day's, current week's, current month's (including present day in all) data in Amplitude? If it’s possible how to configure. If we are giving one day means - only last one day’s o/p is shown in the chart. How to track the present day’s?

Strange behaviour using the Data Table Analysis with Segmentation

Hello, I wanted to report what appears to be a bug in the analysis with amplitude that we may have encountered with end-to-end testing.We attempted to group by session ID and filter cases in which users had performed 2 individual events within the same session. We expected 6 different cases to surface as per our tests.We were successful in surfacing 4 of the expected 6 sessions using the amplitude logic.However, 2 of the 6 expected cases did not surface.When we searched specifically for these 2 session IDs, amplitude can confirm that in these cases, the 2 separate events that we wanted to verify were performed, were indeed completed. We would thus expect for these sessions to have been surfaced in our initial filtering. I am curious as to whether anybody else has encountered similar issues and whether this is a known issue?

Hi, I’m MillerI checked 3Q release highlights. there are new awesome features!I really appreciated all the members of Amplitude In 3Q release highlights, there are new integration with Miro and SlackI want to connect Slack Dashboard with my slack channel, The guide introduces 3steps for integration with SlackFrom within the dashboard you want to subscribe to, click More, then select Subscribe from the drop-down menu. The Subscribe to Dashboard Reports modal will open. Click the Slack tab. In the Add new subscriber(s) field, enter the names of the Slack channels you want to subscribe to this dashboard.  When you're done adding channels, set your preferred update frequency and click Add.However, I can’t find the subscribe button in my dashboard.  Did I understand something wrong? or the feature is provided for paid plan?If you know about this, please let me know! Thanks

Tracking pathfinder's event

Hi everyone, I recently create a pathfinder chart, things is in my pathfinder there is a lot of events seem to be duplicated. For example: my path has 10 steps but, my step 10 is event “web_url”, but step 9 is also that event “web_url”, same with step 8, 7 ,6 Does anyone knows about this case. Can you replace data for select date range in Analytics?

Hello! I’m a PM who is new to Amplitude, which we use in combination with Segment track calls. We have a particular metric we track with data that begins on Jan 1 and goes through the present. The data from May 6 through the present has been coming in correctly; however, the data between Jan 1 and May 5 is partially missing, thus resulting in much lower numbers than should be there.What would be the best way to correct this? Is there a way to delete only the bad data between Jan 1 and May 5 and then replay it through Segment to populate in Amplitude, or is there a better way to backfill this data so it will be correct? Any guidance is very much appreciated. Thank you!

Old event property still coming through

A couple of months ago we changed one of our event properties from “pageName” to “Page name”. Currently, we’re only sending “Page name”.  However, when looking at the event it’s still showing the old property coming through:Unexpected Property100% of event volume included this property while it was unexpectedThe new property is coming through as well, with a 1-1 matching to this one, the same number of events fired for both. If you remove the whitespace and the capitalisation they are the same “pagename”.  Is there a reason for why I’m still seeing the old events coming through (even though we aren’t sending them in the payload)? Is there some way I can stop the old ones coming through, or is it intentional?

I see this ^, so then I go to Data → Properties → Event Properties, and I see I only have <1K event properties. So I don’t understand why I am being warned about reaching the limit. ?

Whether we could be able to add email id as a separate column in user look up?

1. First of all, is it possible to add column for email id, instead of user id? If we add so, whether past datas will not be shown to us?2. How the datas will be passed into the amplitude. Since in the analytics, I have searched for the name of person, who have worked in a particular period of time. I have configured accordingly and searched for the name, but the name didn’t turned up. Why it is so?
