After creating a chart, how could I delete it?

Hey,I’m creating a Funnel Analysis to find out user/account count who performed specific events in an order in 7 days from their first date, but I also need to eliminate the users who haven’t had any events after 19 days of their sign up.Is there a way to enter the opposite of this filter? (like after 19 days of first use) Thank you!Gozde

Hello, I am looking for a way to filter out specific users in a backwards compatible manner. The scenario is the following: We have some of our employees and job applicants creating some accounts in our production environment and we would like to filter out all of their activity from our various charts and analyses. We have come up with a simple tagging system, i.e. tagging the user as “employee” or “applicant” in a custom user property. However, the user properties are time-based, so any events that have happened before we set the user property are still included in the charts. I am therefore looking for a way to look at specific events while using the CURRENT user properties of the users, as opposed to the user properties the user had at the time the event happened. If this is possible, any insight on how you have approached a similar situation would be greatly appreciated!  Cheers, Julien

Hi, I would like to know whether we have to use ATT prompt to use amplitude analysis. I have been thinking, as the data that we are collecting in amplitude cannot specify personal identity,It’s possible not to show the ATT prompt.(we don’t have the Attribution tool yet, which I know for sure that we need ATT prompt) I was wondering whether it is possible to just see the user activities without ATT promptif we collect the data that are not connected to user personaly, and that are not connected to attribution data (like SNS channel, etc) by the way, we are getting the info via HTTP API not SDK thanks! with best regards, Flor 

Hi! I’ve encountered strange user behavior, which I suppose might be the problem connected with analytics. We have an event called first_launch that fires off when a user launches the app for the first time. This event should be followed by another event telling that the subscription screen is shown. They go one after another and normally should work even if the user opened and immediately closed the app. However, I see that 2.5% of users only get the event first_launch along with two standard Start Session events before and after it. Strangely, the first Start Session event has a Session ID equal to -1. We couldn’t reproduce that situation, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask Amplitude gurus what it can possibly be. :)I’d appreciate any ideas on that issue. P/S: Also, what may Session ID equal to -1 mean?

Hi - I can only see 1 available destination for my events data?How do I get the other ones to show?  I want to pass this data to another database so I can easily access it. If anyone has another solution to accessing Events data, let me know. Thanks

Hello,I’m using Amplitude for a long time but ~6-8 hours ago all user events has disappeared.I can’t see any event in “User Look-Up” and at user’s page.I can only see few events on charts but user streams are unavailable . 

We have a mobile app (where Amplitude captures the version number automatically), and a web app (where we call setVersionName explicitly).Now when I try to see how many users are using the latest web version (User Composition by Version), I get mobile app version names mixed in, even after setting Platform to Web.What am I doing wrong?

New to the community, I hope someone can help me with a questions around retention.When measuring weekly retention, why is my W1 retention in 4W view vs 8W view so different? ~59 vs 39%. I am pretty confident the inputs are correct. Am I missing something here?Thanks in advance!  

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to create custom event properties on top of already existing event properties? We have created custom events (eg: Event C = Either Event A or Event B) in the past, I was wondering if we could do soemthing similar with event properties (eg: Property C = concatenate Property A, ‘-’, Property B), or is it something that we’ll have to send as a new event property? Thank you.

Hey community, I might have a silly question but still I couldn’t find an answer myself so here I am.On many retention graphs that I created when I switch to the unbounded retention I see areas where the graph goes up, meaning that the number of people returned on the day n+1 is greater than on the day n, which, if I got the defenition of the unbounded retention right, is impossible.Can you please help me with this puzzle?Thanks!

We need to sum two user properties. Is there a way to get this? I’m guessing the best way would be to get SQL access, but short of that, is there any other way? We’re not looking for event properties, just user properties.

Hey Team,Our app Steppen uses Amplitude for tracking on app use by our users. Steppen is a social fitness app and requires a login process when you download the app.  We are finding that in our "active user count" there are a number (15-20%) of amplitude ID's coming up which are not being attributed to User ID which is what normally happens when a user opens the app and uses it.  Our initial hypothesis was that the user is downloading the app then clicking on it to sign up and then deciding not to sign up. However we are having the same amplitude ID come onto the app on multiple different days and what is recorded is simply that they are only accessing the first sign up page and nothing more. We think it is strange that a user would come onto the app multiple times (one Amplitude ID seems to have come on 9 times) and seems not create an account and use the app.See below a few screen shots of the user flows We are unsure what this user is, is the data not being recorded for this user or

Hi,We are using JavaScript SDK on our website. We want to enable attribution (utm, referrer etc.). After looking at the documentation, I see the options have to be enabled along with init command. Can we also enable these options after the init separately. We want do this because the SDK is placed on the web source code and we want to enable these options from GTM.

I set up event and event trigger in GTM and found that AMP can only capture event trigger by page viewThe tags were fired correctly according to the Tag Assistant’s feedback under the debugger mode. But I just can’t see them logged in Amplitude.This is not the first time using this method, it worked well months ago. However, I found this problem yesterday and I just can’t figure out what’s the problem with my setup or if there were updates or bugs from AMP.Can anyone point me in the direction? Thanks!

Hello All!I am trying to send event data from Kochava to Amplitude however I am running into an issue. I am trying to send events from users who find us organically (not through a tracking link) and I am being told that Amplitude doesn’t have a fall back to capture device_id and Kochava doesn’t know what the fall back should be.  This is what Kochava is telling me:For mobile apps, our integration automatically falls back to the user's device id (ADID for android or IDFA/IDFV for iOS) as the transaction ID when no transaction id is present.  In web and mobile web, the actual device ID (ADID, IDFA, IDFV) is not able to be captured.  Our Web SDK will generate a Kochava Device ID for our system to be able to tie web traffic together for a specific user, but the existing web integration with Amplitude does not have logic in place to fall back to the Kochava Device ID when no transaction ID is available for the web install or event traffic.  We could put this in place, but this is a global c

Hey team,I am new to Amplitude, we want to track the number of users who have accepted access to contacts and location.We were thinking to have access_to_contacts be a boolean value for a user property. I then want to count the percentage of active users over time who have accepted contact access, would using access_to_contacts as a user-property then grouping users by this property be the best way to see the change of this value with time ? Similarly we are looking to see how many users people follow - would the best way be to track this again be creating a user property and then using group by ?Thank you ,Cara

Hello! I’m working to get amplitude all setup for a test run and have quite a few events tracking currently.Within Events, I have a handful of “event properties”. I two high value event properties, “Action” and “ActionGroup”. An Example of how I am intending to use them is that “Action” may be things like “Open” and the “Action Group” may be the feature which is being opened, such as “Schedule”. The trouble I’m running into, is with Charting. I’d like to take all “Action” properties which equal “Open” and see how this breaks down by “ActionGroup” (In essence seeing which feature is Opened).However, when creating a new chart, and selecting “Any Event”, and then select “Group By”, I have no access to this specific Event Property. If i select a specific event, the desired event properties do display.Why can’t I group “All Events” by “Event Properties”? I feel like I’m missing something!Thanks in Advance for any help. 

What does the event TID mean?

Hi!I’m trying to find User property “Referrer_Domain”, but couldn’t find it. I’ve searched it in Govern->User properties.Regarding this article (https://developers.amplitude.com/docs/javascript#web-attribution), this field Amplitude supports tracking automatically. But I’m using integration via Segment. Do you know if there is an easy way to get it?
