We can get the Amplitude GTM tag to fire in one environment, but can’t seem to get it to fire in another.  The only thing I can really see between the two is that on the environment where it works, we don’t use DataLayer gtm whitelisting.  On the environment where it doesn’t fire, we do. On the non working environment - we have the following settings in our DataLayer gtm.whitelist:gtm.whitelist: Array(6) 0: "google" 1: "nonGooglePixels" 2: "nonGoogleScripts" 3: "nonGoogleIframes" 4: "customScripts" 5: "customPixels"   length: 6 Might this be the source of our difficulty?  And if so, what ought we include in there?  I would’ve thought that nonGoogleScripts would encompass it.

DNS Resolving issue for our Chinese Users.We have some users located in China and we found that all the amplitude track request are failed due to DNS Resolving Failure. Are there any ways to fix this?   

We are using Accounts add-on and started sending several events, but I am struggling to visualize these in Amplitude.Summary of our set-up:We track users events, users are part of a group called “Customer” For the $identify event we send the following properties: groups: {Customer: "e11cffc6"} user_id: 123 event_properties: {Environment Type: "Production"} For the $groupidentify event we send the following properties: group_properties: {$set: {Customer Name: "IKEA"}} groups: {Customer: "e11cffc6"} user_id: 123 Questions:Did we configured the group analytics properly? As you can see, we added the Customer Name property only for the $groupidentify event and therefore you can’t tell the customer name in the User Lookup page. We would like to see how many Page View events were created per customer. Should we use Segment by users or customers option? Why do I get different results for each selection?  

I definitely did not make these properties, they seem completely irrelevant to my project, examples: file name md5 file size has annotations has fullsize images has fullsize vectorsThey are definitely completely unrelated to my project.And some users have “first seen” set to years ago, whereas my project is created few weeks ago at most.

when i save log to debug i see 30 event. but when i go to dashboard just have 12 or 15 event show up.How i check invalid api key?

Hi! We are new and setting up Amplitude - one challenge we are facing is that Meta conversions are hardly being reported in Amplitude. For example as per Meta if conversion are 100 - Amplitude is showing only 5 We are also not getting ad campaign details against the limited conversions being shown in Amplitude  Looking for solutions / suggestions - thanks in advance! 

Hi there, I recently started trialling Amplitude and have a major issue going on where all my users are merged into one ID, which means I cannot really use the data going into Amplitude.My app is coded using Flutter/Dart and I am receiving data into Amplitude via Rudderstack and all my users are displaying as one user only even though I have more. I can see all the events correctly in my stream and can see the email address of each users so I know there are different people using the app. However on Amplitude all of my users are grouped into one user ID only and I cannot therefore use user lookup easily...I have tried to implement only the Amplitude Flutter SDK but when I tested it, it was also immediately merging all my accounts into one, which makes the software essentially unusable because I have to go through manually and see the email addresses of users manually to figure out usage data. Do you have any advice on what to do to be able to see each user as an individual user and pre

hello. I am inquiring because UTM cannot be collected.It was developed to collect UTM from web SDK, so there are UTM items in user properties.The event property also has a utm property with the Amplitude official logo.There are duplicate UTM items in events and user properties. Is there an issue with UTM collection for that reason? I would like to delete the UTM item in the event property, but I would like to inquire what development code I should write.event properties utm property (utm property with the Amplitude official logo.)user properties utm property

Hi all,We are building a web application which users normaly start using on their deskop device. At one point there is a mobile handover with a QR code so the user can easily add photos. Our application does not have a login so therefore we don’t set a user id and rely on the one generated by Amplitude. I was wondering what the best practice is to make sure we have the same Amplitude user id for both desktop and mobile in the same session. Would it make sense to get the Amplitude user id on desktop, pass it along in the QR code and then set it on mobile again?Thanks for your help!

I’m pushing synthetic events to Amplitude with a set of properties. For most events, these are then able to be used in the charts dropdown. For others, I’m only seeing User Properties in the dropdown on my charts, despite seeing the event properties present on the stream in User Look Up.Charts:  User Stream (looks the same as BT Transaction 2, where event properties are usable in charts)  

Currently, I would like to differentiate various user access environments using user properties provided by Amplitude.The user access environments I want to distinguish are as follows:PC / Mobile / Tablet For PC, whether it's Windows, Mac, or other For Mobile and Tablet, whether it's Android, iOS, or otherI've already addressed the first point using this post, but I’m facing challenges in determining the second and third points. How can I use user properties provided by Amplitude (e.g., OS, Device Type, etc.) to achieve points 2 and 3?

In the last 24 hours it seems I’ve stopped getting real time data - nothing is showing on “user lookup” or the realtime event stream. I am getting other data. I’ve searched through the posts here but can’t find anything with the exact same issue. I do not get any error messages, the charts are just empty. 

Hi! I’ve been having some trouble with unsetting some duplicate user properties. I’ve used the unset() method in the Identify API to unset the properties in most instances, but for some reason, the property still appears in the user look-up for only one user in one of our projects. I’ve unset the property multiple times in every place where I’ve set user properties just to cover my bases, but I still can’t get rid of it. Any advice? Thanks! 

Trying to sort WHERE to put the $revenue property.My product has multiple types of events being passed right now. Example:Purchase completed (catch all) New Subscriber In-app purchaseAll of these could carry with it the $Revenue property, though I’m debating between using the catch all vs the specific property action.The “purchase completed” event could have the $Revenue property and a $type property to capture what it was from, though is this redundant or unnecessary?

Greetings. Recently we decided to update Amplitude sdk version to 2 for our frontend. I followed the guide Amplitude provided for such cases and everything seems to work fine, except one thing: At the moment, for Macs, iPhones and other Apple devices deviceType property value is empty. We tried dozens of configurations and can confirm that at the moment the issue is consistent. As well as that v2 of Amplitude sdk is used.Could you, please, provide any hints

Since September, the GTM template in Amplitude is not able to track the utm parameter and referral source as user property values. I checked the documentation that the GTM template was recently updated, and I noticed that the Track marketing attribution option is checked when configuring the Initialize tag. However, the utm parameter and referral source are not collected as user properties, but only as event properties of the Page Viewed event.I'm wondering if anything has changed in this regard, and also how I can check the initial_utm or initial_referrer.

We are asking our users multi-select questions and we want to report on the distribution of the answers. I am wondering how to structure the data for the easiest reporting.Ex.:Question = “What brings you to our Product?”Answers: A, B, C, D, E, F, G… which is multi-select (can be 0 to N answers).Should this be one event with an array property containing all the answers of the user? If so, how do I create the distribution chart?Should this be a user property as an array? If so, same - how do I report on distribution?Should these be different events (one for each answer)? Reporting would be simple, but it feels inefficient to me. Anyone can help with this?

Hi,I’m trying to create a custom event to identify users that complete the below path but can see that the custom events work with OR whereas I would like to use AND.Event X → Event X (users browsing page 1 fires event x then clicking into page 2 which fires the same event x)Is there a way to do this - either using custom events or another workaround?ThanksJ

Hello, I’ve set up the Amplitude SDK according by latest docs, but every time when I send “track” event I get the error “Amplitude Logger [Error]: JSON Parse error: Unexpected character: o” in console, but the event appears in the dashboard correctly. 

I have this chart in my dashboard, and want to pull the data needed to make this chart using the v2 api.This is what I’ve tried, but I’m not getting the right data. Is there some flag/parameter that I’m missing that would let me get the “sum of property value” for my ‘price’ property?
