Hello,I encountered an issue in adding additional data source from S3.the error I get:   for context I have another source from the same bucket that is currently working. When I looked into the source of the problem I took a look at amplitude’s docs:amplitude docs - S3 import guideIn the policy that is there it seems that the S3 integration need the following: s3:ListObjects but s3:ListObjects is deprecated, the error from the policy editor in AWS: I would like to know if this is the cause of the problem? could it be on amplitude’s end?the currently running source is working fine. Thanks for any help in advance!  

Hello,I am trying to export data from Amplitude to BigQuery and I have set up all permissions accordingly following the documentation: https://www.docs.developers.amplitude.com/data/destinations/bigquery/The problem is I keep getting an error about permissions which are not contained in the documentation mentioned, please see an example-error below: ```Access Denied: Project hermes-344213: User does not have bigquery.jobs.create permission in project hermes-344213.``` The following permissions were asked already I have given them all bigquery.datasets.delete bigquery.datasets.update bigquery.jobs.create bigquery.transfers.get bigquery.transfers.updateCould someone help me out with this one?Thanks

Hello!Is there any way to get the user device type using Amplitude's Web SDK?I need to identify if the user device type is an "Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max", for example. I noticed that this information is available on the Amplitude dashboard but i couldn't find a method to get this information on the front-end from the server.Thank you in advance!

Hi!Could you please provide guidance on obtaining filtered data from Amplitude, including event properties, by specifying the User ID and Event? Additionally, I'm seeking clarification on the appropriate URL for sending the request, as well as the necessary metrics for filtering the data.

The Ampli SDK npm package uses Sentry to report errors to the Amplitude team. It’s set up to use v6 of Sentry’s packages. Those are 2 years old at this point and it creates dependency conflicts for Amplitude customers who also use Sentry. Would it be possible to have the team update ampli to depend on Sentry’s v7 packages (especially types)?   

I’m trying to create a derived property that has a value based on event name. If it ends in “Viewed”, it is a “Pageview”, ends in “Clicked” it’s a Click.  Otherwise it’s Other.What am I doing wrong in this? 

In the Browser 2.0 SDK it says this:identityStorage string. Sets storage API for user identity. Options include cookie for document.cookie, localStorage for localStorage, or none to opt-out of persisting user identity.  By default this is “cookie” but is there an advantage to use localStorage?  When should we use this option? I realize there must be legacy browser issues, but that would have to be super old browsers that don’t support localStorage so trying to figure out the gotchas here. The docs do not give any guidance on this. 

I am running into an issue where when I run a 50/50 split redirect test using VWO Amplitude is firing two pageview tags - one for the control and the other for the variant essentially double-counting pageviews. How can I best setup our VWO integration to avoid this behavior? Or, is there a way to filter out the double counting on the backend.

Hey, I’m trying to figure out how to generate weekly data report for how many accounts are deleted in Amplitude. I receive a deletion report from Amplitude every day for all the users that requested the deletion from our app, but I want to figure out if there’s a way that I can look at those numbers inside Amplitude through a chart. Hello Guys! Here is the deal: We work with an B2B product, so most of our metrics look to how many companies triggered certain event during a window of time. Most of amplitude is perfectly usable for us, because even with all tracking being made by user, we can always use the “Group By” feature and everything is good. But there is a problem. I want to see on my dashboard the actual number of companies that triggered that event. I can get a list of them easily, but when showed on a dashboard that data is not easily read. I’d need to download a CSV and count the cells. Let’s use the image below as an example. I created a segmentation graph with event i needed, grouped all users by company and then added that to a dashboard. For good measure, i turned it into a table, for ease of reading. Now i can see who triggered the event, but not how many companies, and that’s even worse on this case where there are 165 companies that triggered the event. I also tried to use user composition, so that

Hello,I'm currently trying to install Amplitude in my Remix.js app and am not able to do so. I don't know whether to use the Node SDK and/or the Browser SDK.The Node SDK is working, but since it's SSR (Server-Side Rendering), I can't track events in onClick() functions, for example. When I try to use the Browser SDK to track these kinds of events, I'm not able to do so because Remix is an SSR framework.Have you run into the same issue?

Hey! I realised every time my user update their app, a new user ID is created when then this user opens my app in this new version. That gives me one device ID, but multiple users ID…. This is really affecting my retention chart. Would love some help. Thanks!

Hi All Since about autumn 2023 session length of some sessions started growing much to amounts clearly not in how our app is likely to be used (we are a job search app, not a game to have long sessions). We traced it down to the following:1. It is exactly iOS specific2. It seems to be happening exactly for the versions that have upgraded Amplitude SDK from 8.10.0 to 8.17.2 (i.e. for older versions of our app using older Amplitude SDKs we do not see such issues, at least not en masse)3. We digged and found many example of sessions that seem to be tracked not per Amplitude session tracking rules (that is session should end 5 min after no events happen). ExampleFor example in this session 1707114933154 you can see almost 1 hour long interval between events (a bit less than one hour, so it’s not likely to be some time zone error). We have similar examples for over 3 hours difference and so forth. What to do?As a quick fix, we are trying to roll back to Amplitude SDK 8.10.0, but what should

I’m having an issue with the amplitude events showing different group_properties than originally set using groupIdentify. groupIdentify gets called once in the app to set the group properties for the events which should set it for future events. I noticed in the User Look-Up page in Amplitude Analytics, some of my events show the group_properties incorrectly while in the same amplitude session. There’s a requirement for creating dynamic cohorts in my Amplitude project with the help of existing Rest API. I am able to create a static cohort but it needs to be dynamic. The documentation doesn’t provide information about creating one. Is it possible to create one? If its possible, can someone point me in the right direction in regards to creating a dynamic cohort?
