Govered Events do not equal Project Events

As you can see from the screen shots -- I’ve gone through and removed a bunch of SEO urls that were clogging up our Event Types for the month.  Under Govern, I’m seeing ~270 events but the account is still reporting 1,991.

Is there a way to make sure the events are not blocked between the two?  It use to clear up in real time.  Is there a delay now?

Hi @amandakifer

Thank you for sharing this post!

Is it possible that under Govern you are looking at only Live event? How did you “remove” the events? If you blocked these events, then they will still be counted towards 2000 event type limit. Please see the attached screenshot for different status of events. Also, in case it helps, please check the FAQ about the difference between hiding, blocking, and deleting an event or property: https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059279291

I hope this helps. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Best,
