Can I set date range request parameter for GET Existing Chart API ike you do it POST analytics dataset?

I’m assuming you are referring to the Results from an Existing Chart API endpoint?
If yes, then afaik the only place you can chart the date range is in the UI chart itself. Setting the date range via API parameter isn’t supported currently for this endpoint. Once you change the date range, you will get a new chart ID normally which you can then replace in the GET call.
