Duplicate events for Viewed Page

Hi,

I have just restarted using Amplitude and I’ve since noticed that I’m getting a lot of duplicate events for pages.

The same page will be shown as separate events every time it’s accessed. We do have cross-domain tracking dressing the URL’s (our site is built on Shopify and we’ve had to implement this in order to see referral sources correctly).

Is there any way around this to stop the duplicates coming in but keep the ‘core’ event so that we can make it useable?

E.g. /shop/products will never show as the same even

Our integration is via Segment.

Best,

Reuben

Hey @reubenoconnell

Here are some posts which I believe are addressing this issue if you are using Segment:

If you have the Govern add-on, you could try attempting a UI clean up of some duplicate events by using the Transformation feature set.

Hope this helps.
