Hello everybody

We have a user property called initial_referrer which used to capture the initial referring URL of the user visiting our website. We didn’t change anything between Apr 8-9 2021 and all our initial_referrer's are returning (none) since.

Anyone else having a similar issue or any suggestions on how we can fix this?

Cheers!

Hello, @yigitkocak I have created a support ticket on your behalf since I will need information about your org.

However, in general, a potential reason for this could be:

  1. Merged users: When an anonymous user merges into a known user (has user id) the user property values of the anonymous user override the ones set for the known user. So if the anonymous user has the initial_referrer property null then the known user will have their property set to null when the merge happens.
