Mass change of charts in one dashboard

Hi. This might be just a simple yes or no question. Is there anyway to change all the charts in one dashboard easily? I have a template dashboard with about thirty charts and I use it to create a new client. I have to change each of the chart for every client to recreate the whole dashboard.

Hey @dorohedoro1

If this is your internal dashboard and you are the owner of all the charts, then you can use the parameters accordingly and save new copies of the dashboard.

This post discusses on how to do that

Hello @dorohedoro1

The thread @Saish Redkar shared contains the best steps to use for saving the filtered values as defaults across the charts on a dashboard or template. To save defaults using the “...”→ Save onto Charts selection you would need to own all of the charts on a dashboard or template.

As an alternative, I also want to share that you can create copy dashboards from your template using the “Create New Dashboard” selection on a Template:

Then on the copy dashboard you can add filters and pin the filters using “Save Parameters”. This would be a useful workaround if you did not want to save the filters as defaults across the source charts or if you do not own all of the charts on the dashboard. Here are examples from our demo for reference:

Source template: https://analytics.amplitude.com/demo/dashboard/cpx0t0q?source=team%20space%20item%20table

Copy dashboard with pinned filters (i.e. Save Parameters): https://analytics.amplitude.com/demo/dashboard/rbhcuf0

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have questions.
