How to filter a Compass chart on a user type?

In my product, we have users of Type A and Type B.

I want to answer the question, for users of Type A, what early behavior predicts retention?

I’ve created a Compass chart with the default config:

However, the data is muddied because this is for ALL new users as opposed to new users of type A.

How do I filter on only users of type A? I can’t seem to add a filter on the “For users in the following cohort” clause.

Hey @FounderTurnedDS

You can try creating a cohort which has users of Type A as your base cohort and then using it in your Compass Chart.

e.g. https://analytics.amplitude.com/demo/chart/new/yuod8dy

In here, I’m using a cohort for users with a specific property value and then using that in Compass.

Hope this helps.
