Hi there -

We are hoping to compare the same event with different properties to visualize the source of users for our product. For example, we would have three different clients sending users to the same event - say, “start checkout”. One of the event properties would be “referring client” - client A, B, and C.

How do I build a view that shows the daily count of “start checkout” that occurs from all three different clients? What about over time?

We need to visualize how frequently events occur from different clients in a single, simple view. Thanks!

Hey @adam12

A simple event segmentation chart should help - Start Checkout event grouped by referring client property.

Here’s a demo chart using Play Song/Video event grouped by genre_type property charted daily for the last 30 days - https://analytics.amplitude.com/demo/chart/new/2v4jngk

You can toggle between event totals and uniques depending on your analysis.

If you want the total aggregate count over last 30 days, then the bar chart view of the same chart will give you your answer.

Hope this helps.
