Hi Amplitude Team,
We use your platform for user tracking. We've recently exceeded our Amplitude event limits due to increased usage. We're actively working on reducing the number of events being sent through code changes.
My question is: do we need to delete the existing event data in Amplitude to get back under our limits, or will simply reducing the new events we send be sufficient?
We have a major release coming up, and it's critical that we maintain accurate user tracking during this period. We're concerned about potentially missing crucial data or even having our account blocked. Could you please advise on the best way to manage this situation and ensure we stay within our event limits? Any guidance you can provide on strategies for optimizing our Amplitude usage would be greatly appreciated.
