I LOVE the notebook functionality - it’s so helpful to track release notes. 

Is it possible to create a template for notebooks that can be easily leveraged for new notebooks? We create release docs for most feature updates, and it would be stellar to easily plug in a template to the notebook without needing to duplicate it. 

Duplication is fine but it requires you to find a notebook to duplicate.

Thank you so much for your feedback! As of now, Amplitude does not offer the feature to create templates for notebooks. However, we take customer feedback very seriously, and I have gone ahead and submitted your ask as a feature request to our Product team.

Although this functionality is not available OOTB , you can try mimicking to some extent this using the following -

  • Create a dashboard template and apply the necessary changes to the parameters and the supported text.
  • Use the “Copy as Notebook” option to convert this dashboard into a notebook.

This might not guarantee a full solution, but worth a try.
