Lifecycle chart query

When i filter dormant users the bar charts show the negative scale, what does that mean? e.g. what does -8 dormant current user mean? if it means 8 current users went dormant that week then why is it appearing as -8? why not 8 only

Hi @Abeeda ,

The “Dormant” chart of the Lifecycle analysis can be a bit tricky to interpret. It helps to answer this question - of all the users who became dormant in a given time period, how many were new, current and resurrected in the previous time period?

As far as I understand, the negative scale here connotes the dormancy and the negative sign can be interpreted as a loss in active usage by that amount during the selected time period.

If a user was active during the previous time period, but inactive during the current period, then they are considered to be a “dormant current user”.

Hope this helps!
