How to differentiate between Brave browser and Chrome browser?

Hi, how to differentiate between Brave Browser and Chrome Browser?

The Brave Browser also gives `browser_name` as `Chrome`.

is there a way to differentiate the two in the analytics?

Hi @Tejas H

Interesting case.

Just a did a Google Search for this, seems like Brave Browser doens’t have a user_agent of its own.
Maybe try this way of identifying the agent - https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/wiki/Detecting-Brave-(for-Websites)

Hi Tejas,

We do not have an out of the box way to differentiate the two browsers. I would say either Saish's suggestion could work or you would need to implement your own property to differentiate between the browsers at this time.

Best,
Sydney
