How can I get the User IDs for our user deletion requests?

Our User Privacy API (https://www.docs.developers.amplitude.com/analytics/apis/user-privacy-api/) allows you to programmatically submit requests to delete all data for a set of known users. You are able to retrieve a list of deletion jobs scheduled in a time range. However, these deletion requests will only return jobs by Amplitude IDs.

We recently had a customer who needed to get the User IDs for the users they submitted deletion jobs for. A workaround we came up with is to use the User Search API to run searches for the User ID with the Amplitude IDs the GET deletion jobs return: https://www.docs.developers.amplitude.com/analytics/apis/dashboard-rest-api/#user-search
