User Property Initial Referrer Not Collecting Data Since April 9, 2021

We have a user property called initial referrer which collects the initial referring URL of website visitors.

Some initial referrers range from search engines, referral websites, social media, and more. For example https://www.google.com/, https://www.producthunt.com/, https://t.co/ etc.

Since April 9, 2021 (see screenshot) we can no longer see any initial referrer data and all initial referrer data is (none).


We’ve ruled out iOS 14.5 because it was released on April 26.

We also use Segment and there is an option Track Referrer to Amplitude which is turned ON.

Can’t think of anything else that led to this.

Anyone else having this issue?
