My dashboard keeps resetting to having a 7 day filter parameter applied.

I hit the … and selected reset to default parameters but no dice. Help! What am I doing wrong? Some of the charts are date range limited to allow for before/after comparisons, so I need the dates to not be defaulting to the last 7 days every time the dashboard opens.

Hey @kaia

So the “true” default of a dashboard is the state where the individual charts reflect their original date ranges.

Every time you apply some filter/change the dates and hit Save Parameters, this creates a new default version dashboard url which will stick to the new date filter whenever you refresh/open the dashboard link.

For your case, I think selecting on “Default” and then hitting Save Parameters will make sure you have the original chart ranges intact whenever the dashboard opens.

Hope this helps.
