S2S Integration problem. Adapty + Amplitude. IOS application with a subscription.

Hi!

Does someone use integrated Amplitude and Adapty?

I have a problem.

Almost 30% of all “Trial_started” events that Adapty sent to the Amplitude got an "ip_address": null.

Other 70% got a normal healthy “ip_address”.

Other events work fine, this error is related only to “Trial_started”.

Could someone explain to me why it happens and how to fix it? My product is an IOS app with a subscription.

Good morning @amplp ,

While I am not too sure about the integration with Amplitude+Adapt, what I can tell you is that the IP Address is probably just not being sent in the payload of the event data. Do you know how Adaptly sends events to Amplitude? Through the HTTP API or through an SDK? I would look at the payloads from those who did successfully send an IP address and see what the reason might be that it did not attach. I’d also see if those users have tracking turned off perhaps or even if they have a VPN to see if this is interfering. I hope this helps!
