How do you import events from an existing database?

There are different sources from which you can import data. If you have data stored in a warehouse, we have some converters where you can map out the events with actions tracked on your side. 

For example, if the import is from Google Cloud, you will have guidance from within Amplitude when you start setting up Google Cloud storage import. The steps include:

1. Map certain events to Amplitude fields.
2. Use the converter to guide to make sure that you map out these events to events you have on your side to Amplitude events.
