Events showing in user lookup but not in segmentation

Hey folks I’m having an issue with Amplitude and I’d really appreciate some help :)

I’m backfilling some data for the past couple of years but none of it seems to be available but in event segmentation or in the events page of the Data tab but is visible in the User Lookup page. I tried this for other events and nothing works so far.

The problem is similar to this thread. Our tracking plan does reject events that don’t fit the schema. Is there a fix or do I need support?

Thanks, Jack.

Hi @jack_inne

Thank you for writing the post!

Have you added the backfilled events to the tracking plan? If not, you will need to do so before sending this event to Amplitude.

I would also suggest checking if this event is hidden or blocked or deleted just to make sure your project will accept the event.

Last thing would be to check if there is any drop filter of block filter set for the event.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the response! I tried all the above and resorted to creating a new event and using that instead.
