Hey all,

I notice that a lot of the data we are seeing in Amplitude has been skewed as it is being used for our marketing site as well as our app. Is there a best practice for this? Should we be separating our marketing site into a seperate project?

Thanks

Hi @aimon,

This is a great question. For this, it is really preferential depending on your use-case for your data. If you need to do cross-product analysis from your data across the Marketing site data, it could be beneficial to keep them together. Otherwise, if you’re worried about cross-pollination of your data then you could keep your data separate in different projects.

The last option would be with our Portfolio Add-on, but this is only available after you’ve acquired a Growth or Enterprise plan within amplitude, but you can read more about it here: https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002750712

Hope this helps!
