We're developing Kids games, therefore we're using Amplitude in COPPA mode however in COPPA mode Amplitude does not allow to collect IDFV besides IDFA, city, IP address and location tracking.

However since IDFV is a publisher level ID, Apple does not not restrict the collection IDFV which helps us to identify same users among our games. Is there any chance that Amplitude collects IDFV in COPPA mode ? Or any workarounds ?

Hi @vtaban!

Happy to answer your question.

Amplitude accepts both IDFA and IDFV. You can disableIDFA and track IDFV.

I hope this answers your question but let us know if you have any follow-up questions.

So in this case we’ll disable CoppaControl first then we manually disable ip, idfa, etc ? Did I understood correctly ?
