Group user property values in buckets within user composition report

Hi! I’m trying to work out whether it’s possible to group several values within a user property into buckets, but haven’t found a way to do it yet.

Specifically, I have a user property with users’ age with values indicating individual ages, and I would like to group them in custom buckets “i.e. 20 to 30 years old”.

Can this be done with Amplitude?

Hey @lorenzonannini
Afaik, the user composition chart doesn’t support this use case currently.

But this can be done using the event segmentation chart measured as distribution by property value and then setting some custom bin sizes. Here is an example.

Hope this helps!
