You spoke and we listened! Organization owners and admins can now customize their Amplitude homepage to include internal resources like onboarding guides, Slack channels, data dictionaries, and more.

This new feature acts as a directory for users to get instant access to helpful content and documentation that otherwise would be hidden away in Notebooks or internal Wikis. Bonus points? Custom icons and descriptions for better discoverability.

For admins, access this feature with the "Add Resource" button on the left hand side of your homepage.

Enjoy Portfolio support for user streams

One of our most highly requested features is here! Portfolio user streams are now accessible through charts and user lookup. This release allows you to unlock user streams across projects.

Note: The feature is currently limited to portfolios with five (or fewer) source projects.

New Data releases
Usability, customization enhancements

Get trusted data to power insight about your product. Amplitude helps you proactively manage and govern your data.

Customizable columns in Cohort Preview table

Cohort previews just got better! With the latest property selector enhancement, users can now expose more values in a cohort population preview.

Whereas before you could only see the User ID, Country, and Platform, you can now customize columns to display the values you care most about. No more exporting, just the data you need right in the Cohort preview.

Enjoy two new Partner-led Integrations nBeta]

Last month we were thrilled to announce two new partner-led integrations to the Amplitude ecosystem: Batch and Optimizely for cohort syncs.

These integrations will help users activate their data in Amplitude by connecting to the tools they already use and love.

To access the data source integrations and event streaming integrations, visit the Catalog section of Amplitude Data.

Note: Cohort integrations require a paid Amplitude plan.

Rotate BigQuery account keys with ease

Enterprise customers, this one’s for you! We understand the data security required for BigQuery import and exports – especially when you want to rotate service account keys regularly.

This newly introduced feature will enable all customers to easily rotate their BigQuery service keys, as well as view the metadata and last updated time of previous service account keys. This update improves platform security while allowing you to precisely identify and update your service account keys without any guesswork.

You’re all caught up! Here’s what’s next…

Regarding “Onboard faster with the Customizable Homepage”
It says This new feature acts as a directory for users to get instant access to helpful content and documentation that otherwise would be hidden away in Notebooks or internal Wikis. Bonus points? Custom icons and descriptions for better discoverability.”

How to select a custom icon ? - i do not see the option.

Bonus points for links to docs on how to use new features!

Here’s the docs on customizing the home page.

Custom icons for now appear to be auto assigned as per the standard UI icons used by Amplitude to identify its artifacts ( e.g. charts/spaces/notebooks). I’m not sure if we can override those for now.

However, I am able to insert emojis in the “Display Text” field to add more context to the added resource titles.

@Rune Andersen quick clarification on the custom icons:

A user can’t set an icon of their choosing, but the resource will inherit the brand-specific icon. For example, a google presentation will show the “yellow Google slides” icon. We’re adding support to a variety of tools that show up when the custom resource is added.

@michael.kuhl We hear you on that ask and are starting to add links to help docs for our release updates as they become available.

Thank you for the feedback!
