Users from specific countries are not logged in Amplitude

Hey everyone,

We’ve started using Amplitude roughly 3 months ago, and we discovered this week that users from Australia, New Zealand and Ghana (possibly other countries as well) are not being picked up by Amplitude whatsoever. Our other analytics tools are picking them up though, so we’re wondering what could be the issue with the Amplitude implementation that’s stopping us from getting any kind of events from these users. Is it something related to the device locale? is it a bug with Amplitude?

Thanks!

Alex

Thanks for reaching out here @Alex Camilar. Were you able to make progress? If the problem persists we can escalate it to the team. Here are a few peer posts that might help as you get to the bottom of this. Here’s how to look up event data for individual users.

We made some changes to the implementation, removing the specific section in the code on which specifies which countries are being logged through which data center (EU, US). will update if this is still a problem after. thanks!
