(Recommend) Does personalization work for anonymous users?

Hey bilalmahmood I have done some reading regarding the new product and one thing I am curious about is: does this personalization work for anonymous users? Let's say our product does not use an userID for most of our users, can we target those as well with this? Are there any trade offs for using the Amplitude Recommend for anonymous users?

Yes, Amplitude Recommend creates recommendations on all users - anonymous and identified. For anonymous users, you just have to query by deviceID to return their recommendations via the profile API.
