Filtering out Anonymous Users

Hi there,

I’m new to Amplitude and using the mobile SDK in our app. I’m also using OneSignal for messaging across multiple channels.

Currently, I’m trying to re-engage users that have no app usage in the X number of days, and trying to filter out anonymous users within a cohort.

Is this possible? I’ve tried different operators with multiple variants of “Anonymous User” as User ID but it doesn’t seem like Amplitude even sees the term or the word Anonymous.

Thanks!

Hi @SeanS

Anonymous Users are usually those without a valid user_id.
Try adding the “user_id is not none” clause in your cohort definition and see if that works out.
