Through Govern, we discovered that many events started to receive event properties with the prefix "rex" - for example, "rex.retry" or "rex.uid" (5 of them in total). Our developers did not configure their sending and these event properties are not visible through the "Amplitude Event Explorer" extension.

Perhaps someone can tell us why we see them in Amplitude in graphs and Govern and what these event properties are responsible for?

Hi @Andrii Datskiv,

How are you sending data to the affected project? Please note that Amplitude does not send any event properties by default. All event properties are instrumented by our customers.

I would suggest checking from which source theses properties are ingested and checking the instrumentation in that specific source.

Hope this can get the investigation started!

Best,
