“There are so many good features in Amplitude, but the biggest thing is that it changed how we operate. It has made my team and I so much more data-driven in how we think and work.  If you make more data-driven decisions, you make better decisions.”  - Ran Chen, former Head of Consumer Product at GoFundMe.

GoFundMe is a social fundraising platform enabling campaigns across the globe.

Insight: Within months of using Amplitude, GoFundMe dug into the results of their experimentation effort.  They examined the impact on gross donation volume (GDV) of new variations of their online fundraising experience – sharing campaigns.

Action: As a result, GoFundMe doubled its commitment to product innovation.  They expanded the number of sharing options, hypothesizing and testing more ways to share campaigns and changes to the fundraising page design and layout.

Outcome: Grew GDV by 5% with new sharing experiences and another 4% with customer interface changes. With self-service analytics and experimentation, teams went from 2 to 10 tests a month, validating an increase in employee productivity and serving increased revenue.
