So for web clients, this is a pretty simple conversation. Adblockers abound these days, so it makes sense to have some kind of proxy that will help users maintain the experience even with an adblocker, especially when using Amplitude Experiment for flags.
My question is if there is any good reason to use a proxy for mobile clients? There may be a very small handful of users who use an adblocker for their entire phone. But with the added network latency and little gains, it seems it isn’t worth it to use a proxy even if we already have one setup for web.
Curious to see if anyone else has setup a proxy for mobile, or any points why it would be worthwhile to do.
Edit: sorry, I realized this is probably in the wrong subject But I can’t seem to edit it.
