Ingested event data in Amplitude will be stored as long as you have your valid Amplitude account/plan in existence or unless you requested deletion of your data.
However while querying charts like event segmentation you will only be able to query limited data at a time based on the selected granularity. e.g. for monthly you can query 36 months at a time and then leverage offset to go past that in history.
