Drop filter based on insert_id

Hello,

I would like to ask if it’s possible to drop some events based on their insert_id using the drop filters?

We are using s3 import to ingest the data with a unique insert_id that we create outside of Amplitude. We then map the insert_id to Amplitude insert_id field in the Additional Properties at the Configure Converter stepWe now want to drop some specific events and the only way to identify those events is the insert_id. We’ve tried to use drop filters but the insert_id is not showing in the options of properties.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi @Elena

AFAIK, insert_id is not supported while creating drop filters.

One workaround will be to use the Upload Time field if you know the time during which this batch of event data was uploaded via S3.

Hope this helps,
