I’m very new at using Amplitude, but the main point I want clarification on is if I create one event to track successful logins, Login Success, and another event to track attempts that includes success and failures, Login Attempts. I’m testing this out and getting live events of Login Successes, but Login Attempts, especially failures, are not showing up in live track. I want to know why this is and if Amplitude custom events can keep track of the failed attempts of the login event. 

The success events are giving 200 while failed as 400 error code.

Have you tried setting the login failed event in such a way that Amplitude captures it irrespective of the error code? I’m assuming the 400s errors are shown in your server side rather than this event’s ingestion side.
