Hi, our BE is going to send events to Amplitude when users update their plans (which could be Upgrade, Switch, and Downgrade). We’ll send the price of the updated plan as the property $price. However, when it’s a Downgrade action, the price should be $0. I’m concerned what would happen if I send $0 as the property $price and whether this would make the event not a revenue event and further affect the final calculations.
Hey there,
You can send a revenue event with 0 as its value and this is what you will get:
So I don’t see why not but I recommend just testing it in a separate test project so it doesn’t influence your overall analytics and see if this works for your use case :)
Best,
Zhenia
