Hi all!

I see that Amplitude has the ability to track file downloads on Wix by simply install the browser SDK with yarn or NPM BUT can I retroactively track who has downloaded a file before the date I installed this?

Use case: Non-Profit website for users to download relative data to them/their customers > user hits “download file” > file downloads to their local browser/computer.

There was a mishap in a file no we’re trying to track who has already downloaded it since replacing it with another one.

Hi @lauphi

I don’t think that’s possible retroactively if the SDK wasn’t installed. If you have that file download data elsewhere ( e.g.stored in your data warehouse ), you can ingest it in Amplitude and analyze retroactively.
