When the term ‘user’ is used throughout Amplitude communications is it assumed that this pertains to unique users (i.e. amplitude IDs)?
Hey
Yes, in almost all cases this would be the end user interacting with your product after successful identity resolution.
A user can possibly interact with your product from different devices before logging in. You can run into the situation of Amplitude assigning different Amplitude IDs to that user until it merges those IDs under one unique user ID. You can read more that here .
Hope this helps.
