We’re looking to build an activation funnel, with our core activation metric being if a user viewed a specific type of content 5+ times within the first week.

The funnel we have is quite simple for now - we’re looking at the Registration event, then 2nd event is Pageview → PageType*5

This is where I then get stuck - I can’t seem to add a metric to say “viewed 5 pages of this page type”. Do I need to set this up somewhere else? Almost like a goal in Google Analytics and track that funnel?

I can’t think of a more straightforward suggestion at the moment but you could try creating a funnel with 6 steps. The first being your Registration event followed by the Pageview event x5.

Registration event = User Sign Up

Pageview event where PageType is X = Play Song or Video where Genre_Type is Pop
