Hi there, 

i’m a newbie to Amplitude trying to configure all tags in GTM and send data to Amplitude EU.   I can see all data come through if i use Amplitude Analytics Template for initailising SDK and tracking events.  However, if i use Amplitude Analytics Template as the base tag (init tag) and mix other tracking events (with Broswer SDK set up in custom HTML tag), i can’t see any data in Amplitude EU . I can see all of the tags fire correctly and the events timeline in Amplitude Chrome extension(the link takes me to Amplitude US).  I did set up EU data residency in the init tag.  Am i missing something?  Do i need to set up instanceName for instance?

I’ve double checked configuration in GTM and Amplitude project. I did set up my project inside Amplitude EU and use the API key from Amplitude EU. I’ve configured the server zone by checking the checkbox EU Data Residency under Tag Configuration -> Initialization of the init tag.

Does anyone know what the issue might be?  Thanks

I think the problem could be this i found in chrome console. hope someone will be able to help.  thanks

 

SOLVED!

The reason was the user_id is less than 5 characters, so have to set minIdLength to 1 and i can see data come through to Amplitude.
