Amplitude noob here 👋 

Trying to get my head around the tracking plan and how visual labelling works with it. I hoped that I could use a combination of events defined manually (data->events) and those created using the visual labelling tool and that BOTH of these would be exportable (eg from our dev project) and re-importable to a new project (eg to our production project).

I’ve created test events both manually and using the visual labelling tool but the VL events don’t appear in the event export file.

Am I missing something?

If the VL events aren’t re-importable to the production project, do I have to re-create them manually using the VL tool on the production project?? Seems like that’s a bad idea so I’m hoping I’m missing something obvious here.

If anyone else wants an answer to this…  I attended an Office Hours session and asked the question directly of the Amplitude team.  The response … no, VL events aren’t exported with other event definitions so can’t be transferred from one project to another, they have to be re-set up manually
