Hi,
I've noticed a discrepancy between the "New User" chart in Amplitude and the download data from our app stores (App Store + Google Play).
For example, in March we recorded a total of 10,597 downloads based on store data, but Amplitude reports 11,809 new users for the same period.
This means that Amplitude is tracking more new users than we actually had downloads.
I'm not sure what could be causing this – do you have any idea or possible explanation?
