I’m new to Amplitude, but have used multiple Analytics tools in the past.
I’m using the NodeJS SDK and getting the following error in the console:
“Amplitude Logger [Error]: Invalid API key”
I double, triple checked and the API key matches what I got from Amplitude’s settings. What am I doing wrong?

@seungkwon park welcome to the community! Do you mind double-checking that you are using the US endpoint? You will know which data center you are based in by the url of your org. If your org says https://analytics.amplitude.com then you are in US data center. If your org says https://analytics.eu.amplitude.com/ then you are in EU data center.
Thanks for reaching out here @betsubara and excuse the weekend delay. I’m thinking this could be some sort of bug so I’ll share your note with the team. In the meantime, this is where you’ll find the info you need as your continue to make progress - link.
Hey @Jeremie Gluckman — just figured the issue out. I’m on a regular account, and was initializing Amplitude with “serverZone: amplitude.Types.ServerZone.EU” — I was convinced I was on an EU account.

we are also missing out a few events in Amplitude randomly. We also get these errors occasionally in the console. I’m suspecting this to be the cause. Can you help.
