Hi Community!
I’m new to Amplitude Analytics, and I’m currently using it to track events in my web page.
When I entered into different pages, Amplitude Analytics will automatically log the [Amplitude] Page Viewed event in the Amplitude debugger, with some parameters.
Here are the two questions I want to ask:
- One of the parameter is User Id, when this event triggered in my web page, this id will defaultly set to undefined, is there any way for me to change the User-Id here to my custom user-id? Since each user in my web page will be assigned an unique id, is there anyway to show the id in the User Id also?
- For the referrer in the Event Properties, why is it that whenever I go to any page it shows the url of home? Or did I misunderstand the referrer? Because I want it to show me the url of the current page when I go to a different page, but why does the referrer stay home?
