Yes, in almost all cases this would be the end user interacting with your product after successful identity resolution.
A user can possibly interact with your product from different devices before logging in. You can run into the situation of Amplitude assigning different Amplitude IDs to that user until it merges those IDs under one unique user ID. You can read more that here .
